Just a reminder that Zumba class is not running on Monday, 7th May due to the bank holiday. All other classes are running as normal.
Clowns Without Borders at the Fringe
The charity Clowns Without Borders, which I support, is doing a fundraiser on Tuesday, 8th May in the fabulous Spiegeltent.
I’ll be popping down with Peggy after class that evening (let me know if you want a lift down). Marion will do a talk as a representative from the charity. Please support them if you can.
Free Fringe dance workshops!
I’m starting outreach work, delivering dance workshops in Hangleton and East Brighton, in preparation for our show Happy Feet as part of the Brighton Festival.
Club Click at the Fringe
Also on Saturday, 26th May I will be supporting Club Click: Miami Meltdown at the Fringe. Put on your sparkles and come dancing, everyone is welcome.
Leech Court workshops
I’m continuing to run ballroom and Latin dance workshops at Leech Court residential care home. The next dates are 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 May. We will then be running a tea dance at Brooke Meads care home for those with dementia on 6 June. The workshops are from 2 – 3:30pm with a break for tea and biscuits.
Workshops are free, and if you are able to come and be a dance champion, you would be very welcome. Or if you want to bring a relative or friend who might be considered vulnerable then please drop me a message so I know to expect you.
Ragroof Tea Dance at the Fringe
Finally, although I’m not working, I will be going to Ragroof’s Tea Dance at the Spiegeltent on Sunday, 3rd June. Please let me know if you’re going and I’ll reserve a booth for us.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
